LAREDO’S RESTAURANT

When the popular Madison area Mexican restaurant decided to expand to a new location in the southwest suburb of Fitchburg, the client was looking for a space with their signature festive atmosphere that had made the existing locations a success. With an understanding of the character that embodies this establishment’s distinct identity, Shulfer Architects was challenged to create a contemporary space that enhances the authentic dining experience. The interior layout was designed to break down the large storefront space into inviting dining areas, creatively using tiled ceilings to frame intimate booth seating. Vibrant murals and tile work, understated pendant lighting, and a multi-colored stained concrete floor were used to establish a cohesive design throughout the open bar and dining areas and create an enticing venue for the newest location of this Mexican restaurant.
