ENDURANCE HOUSE

As an established specialty retail store in the pedestrian-friendly Greenway Station “Lifestyle Center” Mall, Endurance House enjoys both a great location and the loyal business of triathletes and endurance sports enthusiasts from the greater Madison area. As the store’s entrepreneurs prepared to expand their current business into a larger neighboring space, Shulfer Architects was contracted to design a retail environment which combines the client’s high energy taste with a need for information and service. Maintaining a tight project budget, our architects worked closely with the client to creatively reuse materials in the new space, review contractor bids, coordinate the relocation of existing casework and seamlessly incorporate the store’s signature Foot Strike Analysis stations. An existing brick wall was highlighted with a new custom designed lighting feature to become an eye-catching display area that is now a focal point of the store. Warm colors, vibrant signage and plenty of natural daylight all work together to create a retail space with an energetic shopping atmosphere that caters to customers with an active lifestyle
